Initially my blog started as a way to document my pregnancy and all my son's "firsts" with family and friends, but I was enjoying it so much that I really wanted to grow it. Then I had to decide what information was appropriate for the blog and what I should keep private. I think I'm still trying to figure that out... Yea!! Another great blog to read! I struggled with this same issue. Initially my blog started as a way to document my pregnancy and all my son’s “firsts” with family and friends, but I was enjoying it so much that I really wanted to grow it. Then I had to decide what information was appropriate for the blog and what I should keep private. I think I’m still trying to figure that out…

CONS - since only my wife knows, i can't tell people about anything cool going on with it :( like if i get more subscribers, linked to cool blogs, etc...(i've started to everyone that i do it anonymously, so i can still share & make momma proud (haha) but not give away the deets.) - this means i can't help my friends and family w/ finances, which is HARDDD as i wanna share ya know? I do tell them about other sites i frequent though to help ;) - i'm a media whore, and it's hard NOT to show my face, name, etc all over the place ;) - i lose a little marketing because i can't share in my personal emails, facebooks, myspaces, etc. - it's HARD keeping a secret!
