Coding? What’s That?

in Blogging Tools

One of the advantages to starting a blog on Blogger is that it’s so darn easy. You sign up, choose a name and go. No coding, nothing technical, no new vocabulary to learn. I highly recommend it. Starting with Blogger allows you to get familiar with blogging and get into the swing of things, learning the ropes so to speak, without making too big of a time commitment.

Then, when you’ve decided that this new hobby isn’t just a passing fancy, you can switch to Wordpress, as it’s infinitely better equipped and more customizable. The only problem is that it assumes a certain level of technical knowledge and without this technical knowledge, setting up a blog can be a bit of a challenge.

Here are two useful tools that can help you out.

  • Firebug (program) helps with coding, requires a bit of technical knowledge
