Frugal Dad is a personal finance blogger who has experienced incredibly rapid growth on his blog, going from very few subscribers to more than 3000 in about eight months. How has he done it?
Well, to begin, his blog has a polished look with a professional design. If you had stumbled upon his blog in its early days, you would never have guessed that it was relatively new.
He also writes about a subject which interests him immensely; saying that having previously explored other blogging topics allowed him to realize which subjects he was passionate enough about to be able to sustain the writing schedule necessary for a successful blog.
He did have a few strokes of luck: a square foot gardening article which was highly stumbled on Stumble Upon and then that same post being linked to and mentioned on a very popular personal finance blog, Being Frugal. But even without these two factors, Frugal Dad would have achieved success, in great part I believe, thanks to his excellent content.
